Firefighters extinguished a fire this Saturday in a restaurant in the La Peñita Shopping Center in Puerto del Carmen. The fire originated in the fryer of the premises, according to reports from the Emergency Consortium.
"The owner informed us that the gas had been disconnected and the cylinders removed, so we proceeded to extinguish the fire in the premises with water, except for the fryer to which we poured cold oil," they add from the emergency entity. Finally, they ventilated the premises, which were practically completely damaged by heat and smoke.
