Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished a fire in a vehicle this Monday morning, which took place on Triana Street in Arrecife.
After being alerted by the Cecoes around 7 in the morning, the firefighters went to the scene, verifying that the engine area of the car was burning. Local and National Police officers were already at the scene, marking off the street.
The firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire with water and foam and, immediately afterwards, opened the hood of the vehicle to also flood the engine area with foam "for effective extinguishing." A nearby vehicle was also cooled with water to prevent the spread of the fire.
