Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote have evacuated a tourist who fell into the pool of a hotel in Lanzarote.
The events took place after 6:00 p.m. in the afternoon, at the Hotel Lancelot, located on Avenida Mancomunidad. The woman, a 75-year-old tourist, fell into the pool area, which could have caused a "possible hip fracture."
Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium, an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the Arrecife Local Police were transferred to the scene.
The firefighters evacuated the tourist from the roof of the building to the ambulance. Then, she was transferred by the paramedics to the Molina Orosa Hospital in Lanzarote.
