A vehicle burned on Sunday night next to the Los Dolores church, in the municipality of Tinajo, in a fire that also affected two nearby containers, one for organic waste and another for plastics.
As reported by the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the personnel were alerted to the fire and quickly moved to the scene of the incident. Upon arrival, they confirmed that the flames affected both the vehicle and the containers located in the vicinity.
Firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire using jet and sprayed water, managing to completely put out the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other nearby elements.
Once the extinguishing work was completed and the area secured, the service was concluded. No personal injuries were reported.
