The second day of searching for Miguel Ángel Gentile, the 41-year-old man missing in the northern part of the island, has concluded unsuccessfully, according to the Emergency Consortium. In the operation, which is being coordinated by the Guardia Civil, participate the firefighters, the GES helicopter, Emerlan and Local Police of Haría.
As will be recalled, the emergency services received a call last Wednesday around 11:10 hours through the Civil Guard, which alerted to the disappearance of Miguel Ángel in the town of Ye. According to what the Civil Guard has reported, the man had planned to do hiking routes in the area.
The Emergency Consortium has informed that Gentile's vehicle was found in this parking lot, as well as his mobile phone and his personal documentation. The hypothesis that the armed institute is considering is that the car was in the place since last April 5.
It was Miguel Ángel Gentile's father who reported from Brazil that he knew nothing of his son, since on the island he only has one relative with whom he would not maintain a close relationship.
The search tasks will resume early in the morning.
