The Infrastructure Councilor of the Cabildo de La Palma, Gerardo Hernández, was stabbed at the door of his house on Sunday night.
At this time the facts are being investigated, as the perpetrator and the reasons that originated them are unknown, although there is speculation about the possibility that the aggressor is a woman who, after the stabbing, injured herself.
Hernández is in the General Hospital of La Palma, in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), without fear for his life.
