A car collided with a wall on the Central Avenue of Tías, near the well-known Ferretería de Tías. The accident took place at approximately 3:45 p.m. this Wednesday, May 28.
The Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) received notice of the incident and immediately activated emergency resources.
Local Police officers, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), Civil Protection personnel and volunteer firefighters from Lanzarote traveled to the scene.
Upon arrival, the emergency services verified that the vehicle's driver had no injuries, so it was not necessary to carry out a health transfer. The teams then proceeded to disconnect the car's battery and clean the road to restore safety in the area.
Local Police officers were in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the corresponding report.
