Canal Gestión Lanzarote has warned this Monday of a possible "fraudulent sale" that would be taking place in Lanzarote using the company's name. Specifically, it points out that "certain unidentified people have been visiting homes in recent weeks to offer devices and filters that improve the water supply, as if it were another service offered by Canal Gestión."
The company explains that several subscribers and citizens have contacted Canal to report this practice. For this reason, it has issued a statement in which it "recommends that the entire population exercise caution and be prudent in the face of possible deceptions of these characteristics, since CGL does not have a service like the one described."
In addition, the company emphasizes that "the water it produces and supplies is suitable for human consumption, complying with all the sanitary controls established by Law."
