A small fire in a van mobilized emergency services on Saturday night, January 3, around 9:40 PM, on Augusto Lorenzo street in Arrecife, according to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium.

The incident, classified as level 2, affected the vehicle's front skirt, which began to burn for reasons that have not been disclosed. It was the residents themselves who managed to extinguish the flames using an ABC dry powder extinguisher before the arrival of personnel from the Central Station, who responded with vehicle Bravo 5.

Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed the fire was completely extinguished and proceeded to secure the area. Local Police and National Police attempted to locate the van's owner, without success, so the service was ultimately concluded without any personal injuries reported
