The National Police have arrested a man who entered an inhabited dwelling in Los Cristianos, Tenerife, through the bedroom window of two minors and who pursued its occupants when, after surprising him, they fled to take refuge in another room.

The events date back to last November, when the detainee accessed the property where a married couple with two daughters resides during the day, descending from the building's rooftop using two intertwined sheets.

When he was introduced through the minors' bedroom window, the mother discovered his presence and fled "in a panic" to alert the rest of her family, provincial police station sources detail
