The National Police have arrested a man who entered an inhabited dwelling in Los Cristianos, Tenerife, through the bedroom window of two minors and who pursued its occupants when, after surprising him, they fled to take refuge in another room.
The events date back to last November, when the detainee accessed the property where a married couple with two daughters resides during the day, descending from the building's rooftop using two intertwined sheets.
When he was introduced through the minors' bedroom window, the mother discovered his presence and fled "in a panic" to alert the rest of her family, provincial police station sources detail
The couple and one of the minors managed to take refuge in a room of the house, while the other minor locked herself in the bathroom, blocking the door.
Far from abandoning the scene, **the author pursued the woman and attempted to force open the doors of the rooms** where the victims were taking refuge, even going so far as to insert an arm through a ventilation windowFinally, failing to achieve his objective and given the uproar caused and the victims' communication with the Police, he left the dwelling, taking a laptop and a mobile phone, the latter belonging to one of the minors.
Thanks to the investigative efforts carried out by the Police, the officers fully identified the perpetrator, who was recognized by the victims themselves.
