An explosive fire burns three containers and two vehicles and affects a third car in Arrecife

Fire in five containers and three cars in Arrecife

Trillo street in Arrecife has experienced a spectacular fire in the early hours of this Thursday, in which three containers and two vehicles have been burned and a third car was affected by the flames.

The events occurred at around 5.44 am and upon arriving at the scene, firefighters observed "several explosions" as the flames spread, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.

Finally, they managed to control the fire with two lines of sprayed and jet water, and also with the help of foam, as one of the vehicles had generated a fuel spill. As for the containers, two were for organic waste and another for cardboard.

Agents of the Local Police and the National Police also came to the area, who were already there when the firefighters arrived.

In addition, shortly before the Consortium had had to act in another container fire, in this case in Tenederete street. This first event took place at around 04:43 hours and two organic waste containers burned down.
