The Local Police of Tías made two arrests, for different reasons, early last Sunday morning.
On the one hand, they arrested Guincano M.C., 26 years old, for assaulting an agent, according to the Police. This individual was ordered to stop his vehicle to check for the possible existence of narcotics, since he had been arrested on other occasions for crimes against public health, according to this security force.
The agents verified that he had a significant amount of fractional money, so they performed a superficial search, at which point, according to the Police, the individual gave the agent a strong blow to the chest that almost made him fall to the ground, and consequently another to the arm that caused injuries. Given this situation, since no drugs were found, the agents arrested the individual, who they say offered "great resistance", and was taken to police facilities and placed at the disposal of the court, once the appropriate procedures had been carried out.
On the other hand, they also arrested Margarita G.B., native of Álava and 36 years old, after a prior complaint was registered at the Tías Local Police station, for alleged death threats and theft by a roommate. Once the arrest was made and the proceedings were carried out, she was also placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
