A military man from the Air Force Army shoots five times into the air in Playa Honda

A soldier, a brigadier of the Air Force, about 45 years old, fired five shots into the air in front of the doors of the Ópera restaurant bar in the coastal town of Playa Honda, as confirmed to La Voz by sources close to the investigation.

It was around 11:30 p.m. when the restaurant manager heard several shots coming from Chimidas Street.

According to information from ACNpress, the Civil Guard has specified that the soldier had an altercation with two individuals in a restaurant and then went to his house and took a private licensed pistol, model Star BM and caliber: nine millimeters, to return to the scene of the incident. The same sources indicate that supposedly, upon not finding the people with whom he had had the fight, he fired five shots into the street with the revolver.

According to the Civil Guard, the subject was allegedly drunk, so he was later transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital given the high degree of alcohol he presented.

The event did not cause personal or material damage, but the soldier, a native of the Cantabrian town of Santoña, is in the custody of the Civil Guard where he is testifying.
