A young woman reports an assault in Puerto del Carmen: "She told me she was going to bury me"

The plaintiff claims that the aggressor is a collaborator of clothing and swimwear brands in the Canary Islands

A young woman has reported an assault by another woman in Puerto del Carmen to the Civil Guard. According to the victim's statement, she had been receiving threats through social media for a few days. Although at first she thought it was a joke, the situation worsened last Monday.

The events took place around 8:30 p.m. near the Bahía Kontiki Beach. This young woman was walking on the corner of Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen with Calle Guanapay, when another woman got out of a rental car, which she had left parked in the middle of the road, and allegedly started hitting her.

At that moment, the vehicles circulating on the road began to honk because the alleged aggressor had left the car obstructing traffic.

"I couldn't defend myself because I was scared and I was with my dogs," the plaintiff, who prefers to remain anonymous, tells La Voz. It was the intervention of a local merchant that stopped the dispute.

Currently, the young woman is "in a state of shock and confined" in her home. Among the threats received, one particularly caught the plaintiff's attention: "She told me she was going to bury me."

The injury report to which this editorial staff has had access shows that she had bruises and scratches, erosions on the right forearm, bruise on the right forearm and pain in the left wrist.

Before this alleged aggression and due to the alleged harassment received on social media, the victim knows the identity of the aggressor, although she claims to have no relationship with her.

Furthermore, according to her version, she adds that the aggressor is a collaborator of clothing and swimwear brands in the Canary Islands. "She shows herself on social media as a totally different person from what she really is," she says.
