A 26-year-old man has been injured after being attacked in Puerto del Carmen on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place at 07:08 hours on Avenida de Las Playas and when paramedics arrived at the scene, they found that the man had a moderate abdominal wound, so he was transferred in an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service to the Molina Orosa hospital.
According to sources related to the investigation to La Voz, it all started with a fight between two British tourists in the Atlántico Shopping Center, located on Avenida de Puerto del Carmen. This ended with an attack by one of them with a glass bottle to the other. The alleged perpetrator fled the scene, and the Civil Guard has already launched an investigation to try to find him.
The Local Police of Tías also moved to the scene, in addition to the ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service.
