The Security and Emergency Consortium had to go to the Church of San Bartolomé to prevent the possible fall of a piece of wood at the top of its tower. The events occurred at noon last Thursday around 2:13 p.m. on Párroco San Martín street.
Once notified, they went to the place to intervene in the building. Upon arrival and with the help of ECO 1, they first checked the condition of the tower, and seeing that there was a risk of collapse, they proceeded to remove the piece of wood to avoid possible major damage and for safety.
After the action and despite the incident, there were no injuries or any damage beyond the broken piece.
