In the back of Megacentro, in Playa Honda, last Tuesday two people were injured after suffering a traffic accident. The NGO EMERLAN (Emergencies and Rescue Lanzarote) received a call around 18:45 at the Coordination Center, alerting of this event and giving notice to the CECOES, an ambulance moved to the area, verifying that two vehicles had been involved in an accident, apparently one of them running a stop sign.
The worst damaged vehicle, which overturned, was occupied by a year and a half old girl and her mother, neighbors of San Bartolomé. The first one presented a bruise on her forehead and the second one, nervous crisis and cervical pain, so they were evacuated to the Dr. Molina Orosa Hospital, while the occupant of the other vehicle did not require sanitary assistance. The Local Police of San Bartolomé instructed the appropriate proceedings.
