A man has been transferred to the hospital after a fire broke out in a squatter house this Friday morning in the center of Arrecife.

Alerted by the CECOES at around 06:33, the Security and Emergency Consortium moved to the intersection of Fajardo Street with Manolo Millares to extinguish the flames. Upon arrival, they found that the fire was affecting remains of garbage and belongings inside the house and the only occupant, a 37-year-old man, was already outside.
