A man has been injured after suffering a knife attack on Gran Canaria Street, in Arrecife. The incident occurred on Monday night to Tuesday at 5.05 am, according to reports from Cecoes 112.
Around this time, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center received a call reporting that a man, 35 years old, had suffered a knife attack and needed medical assistance.
In this way, 112 immediately activated the appropriate emergency resources. Personnel from the SUC, as well as the National Police, who carried out the corresponding procedures, went to the scene.
Upon arriving at the scene, SUC personnel attended to and stabilized the affected person, who presented injuries that made it advisable to transfer him to a hospital. Thus, the man presented a wound in the thorax of a less serious nature and had to be evacuated in an advanced life support ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
