Neighbors alarmed by the "insecurity"

The residents of La Vega denounce "insecurity" in the neighborhood due to a "conflictive occupation". "We are alarmed by the situation," they acknowledge to the newspaper. The abandoned houses have become a "drug consumption point," they add.

Their daily life in the neighborhood is affected by the behavior of the cohabitants, who do not even let them rest. "We experience it normally, but there are continuous robberies and arguments," they say.

In addition, numerous fires have occurred in the place on several occasions. "It is an unbearable situation that we are experiencing," they confirm to the newspaper.
