A litter of cats was thrown into a field in San Bartolomé inside a plastic bag, where the animals would have died if it weren't for the intervention of a neighbor. This has been made public by the Sara animal shelter, which is now looking for a home for these cats.
"What heartless soul can do this to poor defenseless kittens?", they ask from Sara, who has made public on their Facebook page this new episode of animal abuse. "To pick them up, put them in a plastic bag and throw them in the middle of the field, what for? So that they would die of suffocation? So that they would die from the blow? So that they would die slowly from hunger and thirst by being in a place they don't know and without a mother?", she insists.
However, in addition to denouncing "so much human cruelty", from Sara they also point out that "luckily not everyone is the same". And it was a neighbor who allowed these animals to be saved. "He picked them up and brought them to our shelter to save them", they say from Sara.
However, the shelter is currently overwhelmed, so it has made a public appeal. "We are full of kittens and we need some other charitable soul who can take them into their home until we can make room", they explain. Thus, in addition to the possibility of adopting one of these cats, there is the option of taking in one of them for a while, until Sara recovers space in its facilities.
