The Waikiki nightclub, located in the Papagayo Shopping Center in Playa Blanca, suffered a fire on its exterior in the early hours of this Sunday.
According to reports from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, once they were alerted by the Cecoes around 05:30, firefighters went to the scene where local police officers were already present, who had extinguished the fire with multipurpose powder extinguishers.
The firefighters proceeded to set up a hose line to cool the entire area affected by the fire.
