A driver reported after skipping the curfew and testing positive for alcohol and cocaine

The events took place in Arrecife and he was also sanctioned for drug possession. In addition, the vehicle had no insurance and the ITV was expired.

Agents of the Citizen Security and Intervention Unit (USCI) of the Local Police of Arrecife reported a driver after skipping the curfew and testing positive for alcohol and cocaine consumption.

According to the USCI, the driver was located after trying to "hide" from the agents and was also reported for drug possession, specifically cocaine.

In addition, the vehicle he was driving had an expired ITV and lacked mandatory insurance, facts for which he was also sanctioned. 

 

Three other drivers sanctioned

Also, on the night of Saturday, March 6, three drivers were intercepted by USCI agents, skipping the curfew. The three were investigated for crimes against road safety, for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
