The sentimental couple composed of the male D.C.M., 32 years old, and the female S.D., 34 years old, both natives of Scotland and with British passports, who were staying on vacation in a tourist complex in Puerto del Carmen, were arrested by agents of the Main Post of the Civil Guard of Tías accused of crimes of Damage, Disobedience, Resistance and Attack against Authority.
The staff of a hotel complex required two of their clients to pay for their stay. As a result of a discussion held due to certain discrepancies due to the amount of money to pay, a small public altercation occurred, with a patrol of the Civil Guard going to the scene.

After the instruction of the appropriate procedures, both detainees have been placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority in Arrecife.
