Firefighters extinguished a container fire in Puerto del Carmen on the morning of Saturday, December 31. The fire took place around 7:00 a.m. on Teide Street in the tourist town.
Once alerted by the CECOES, the firefighters went to the place where they verified that a container for collecting organic waste was burning. They extinguished the fire with sprayed and jetted water, but the container was completely burned.
Local Police and Civil Guard agents also went to the scene.
