An English child was hit by a vehicle on Princesa Ico street in Puerto del Carmen, suffering multiple contusions that caused him to be admitted to the hospital.
The incident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. last Monday, when, according to the Tías Local Police, the child was playing with a ball and suddenly invaded the road.
After receiving a notice at the Cecoes 112 Central, the Traffic Unit and the Accident Unit went to the scene to clarify the occurrence and instruct the corresponding proceedings.
Meanwhile, the minor was attended at the scene by an ambulance from the Red Cross and another medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), and was later transferred to the General Hospital of Lanzarote.
