New accident on the roads of Lanzarote. A car overturned this Thursday on the road that connects Montaña Blanca with San Bartolomé, according to the Emergency Consortium.
After being alerted by the CECOES, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, the Civil Guard and firefighters went to the scene of the accident.
The driver and sole occupant had been trapped inside, so the firefighters had to extract her. To do this, they lowered the seats and cut off a headrest with the pedal cutter and, with the help of the rescue board, took her out through the rear gate and finally transferred her to the ambulance.
The health services took care of her and evacuated her to Molina Orosa. For its part, the Civil Guard was in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the corresponding report.
