A car has crashed into a lamppost after going off the road in Iguazú street in the capital's neighborhood of Maneje. The incident took place at around 8.30 pm this Sunday. Apparently, the driver was distracted and had the accident.
Once alerted in the Cecoes, agents of the Local Police of Arrecife and firefighters of the Consortium of Emergencies and Security of Lanzarote have moved to the place. The firefighters have disconnected the battery of the vehicle and have taken out of it a dog that was still inside. The driver had a cut on his forehead and was attended to at first by the firefighters.
In addition, the Security forces have also disconnected the lamppost and have cleaned the road. The local police have been in charge of regulating the traffic.
