A 72-year-old fisherman has been moderately injured after suffering a fall in Punta Mujeres, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center.
The accident took place at 14:53 hours when the CECOES was alerted. A basic life support ambulance from the SUC, Local Police and Civil Protection have traveled to the scene.
The health personnel have assisted the affected person who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented a moderate hip trauma. After being stabilized, he was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police has collaborated with the team of the Canary Emergency Service to bring the patient closer to the ambulance and has instructed the corresponding procedures.
