A 60-year-old woman injured after falling on the street in Tías

She has been transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital

A 60-year-old woman was seriously injured after falling and hitting her head on the curb of a street in Tías, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center.

The incident took place at around 8:00 p.m. on Matorral Street, at which time CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers and two ambulances, one medicalized and one with basic life support, from the Canary Emergency Service went to the scene.

SUC personnel assessed the affected woman, who presented moderate traumatic brain injury, and transferred her to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital.

The Local Police carried out the corresponding procedures.
