A 13-year-old girl had to be rescued last Sunday after suffering a fall on the Tinache mountain, in the municipality of Tinajo. The young woman was walking with her sister and another friend when she "slipped and fell", according to police sources. The incident took place around 7:00 p.m.
The girl's relatives called an ambulance from Emerlan, an NGO that in turn requested the presence of the Local Police of Tinajo. The place where the affected person was located could not be accessed by ambulance or any type of vehicle.
Thus, the paramedics had to walk to find the young woman, who was evacuated on a stretcher until reaching the ambulance. The girl had multiple bruises and severe pain in her hip.
Therefore, she was transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
