A 13-year-old minor has died this Thursday after falling from a scooter while riding along Avenida Saldar de Pájara, in Fuerteventura, as reported by CECOES.
At around 03:00 this morning, the Civil Guard alerted the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands to request health assistance for a minor who had suffered a fall from a scooter and may be seriously injured.
When the SUC staff arrived, they confirmed that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers without obtaining results, confirming the death of the adolescent.
In addition to the Civil Guard, agents of the Local Police, a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance also went to the scene. For their part, the police services instructed the proceedings.
