San Bartolomé Festivities

The San Bartolomé City Council celebrates the success of the first week of the municipality's patron saint festivities, which have brought together thousands of residents, as well as audiences from all over the island, to participate in the various acts and events organized.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, wanted to highlight the great reception of the various cultural, sports and musical activities, aimed at all ages and under the seal of inclusiveness, which have been held in the municipality throughout these first days, and thanked the residents for their participation, “because, without them, none of this would be possible.”

“Marita's proclamation, the card tournaments, the ball tournaments, soccer and handball, the Folkloric Memorial, the Tapas Day, the foam party or the Youth Party are some of the most important events that have been held and all of them have had a large influx, so we are convinced that the Festivals will continue to attract numerous people to San Bartolomé who want to enjoy these dates,” said the mayor.

For her part, the Councilor for Festivities, Estefanía Luzardo, thanked the population for their participation, collaboration and civic behavior demonstrated since the beginning of the festivities and invited people to “continue enjoying the two weeks that remain ahead, in which there will be dances, concerts, pilgrimages, workshops for the little ones, a day for the elderly and, of course, the grand closing on the great day of San Bartolomé.”
