The children of the municipality who are participating in the Co-responsible Plan of the City Council of Tías, a care policy developed by the Ministry of Equality to promote work-family balance, celebrated yesterday a fun Carnival party at the Conil socio-cultural center.

The little ones, aged between 6 and 12 years old, starred in a celebration full of music and dance, recreating the world of the circus with shows of mimes, trapeze artists, tamers, dancers and clowns. The magician José Ángel also performed and souvenirs were given to the participants.

The mayor, José Juan Cruz, and part of his government team and the Welfare and Family team, managed by Nicolás Saavedra, accompanied the children and families at this Carnival party, which stood out for its color, creativity and fun.

“This type of activity not only offers children a safe and enriching space, but also facilitates the reconciliation of many families in Tías. It is a pride to see how the little ones enjoy, learn and share special moments like this carnival”, Cruz declared.

The Day Service in Tías is managed by the Adsis Foundation and coordinated by the Minors and Family Service of the City Council. The Department of Social Welfare and Family continues to bet on the continuity of this service, which has been operating since October 2022, thus complying with the objectives of the Co-responsible Plan. This plan, managed by the Ministry of Social Rights of the Government of the Canary Islands, is financed by the Ministry of Equality of the Government of Spain.
