Arrecife will host this Thursday, March 22, the presentation of the latest novel by Canarian writer Mariano Gambín, "La masión", which continues his 'Ira Dei' trilogy. The novel is again set on the island of Tenerife, with the city of La Laguna as the main setting, and full of "surprising" situations and characters. The presentation will take place at 8:15 p.m. at the Hotel Miramar.
From the El Charco Reading Club, organizer of the event, they highlight that "since the release of 'La mansión', the novel became "a new critical and public success, occupying the place of honor in sales in the main surfaces, selling out immediately".
In this sense, they point out that the first criticisms after the arrival of 'La mansión' in bookstores indicated that it was "an enjoyable cocktail of history, action, mystery, humor and a fine irony. They hook the reader from the beginning with their suggestive stories, their agile and easy-to-read prose and their short chapters that give it a cinematographic rhythm characteristic of the author".
Despite his long career as a writer and novelist, this will be the first time that Mariano Gambín has presented one of his works in Lanzarote. During this meeting with readers at the Hotel Miramar in Arrecife, the author will talk about 'La mansión', the rest of his work and share the secrets "of this successful series of novels that have made him a reference for mystery in the Canary Islands".
At the end of the meeting, the author will sign copies of his novels, which will be available at a stand set up by the El Puente Bookstore in the main hall of the hotel.
