This Friday, March 3, the carnival returned to the Historic Site of La Villa. In this case, it was the Traditional Carnival, which included the participation of groups from outside, such as Los Peliquerios (Ourense) and Los Arretrancos from Fuerteventura, as well as the mascaritas, the Bulls of Tao and Tiagua, Los Diabletes of Teguise or Los Buches of Arrecife, with the performance of the Parranda El Golpito as the culmination.
The Department of Festivities, led by Nory Machín, prepared the square so that each of the groups could carry out their performance under the watchful eye of the spectators who did not want to miss such a special night.
The great bullring of the Costa Teguise Carnival will be this Saturday, March 4, starting at 5:00 p.m., and on Sunday the 5th, a parade will take place in the Historic Site, as a Day Carnival. For its part, the island of La Graciosa will put an end to the festivities with its particular Carnival on the weekend of March 17 to 19.
