The project "Siembra. Cinema for young people" continues this Thursday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. with the film "Dersu Uzala (The Hunter)", by the Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, one of the most prominent in the history of cinema.

The Tenique Cultural Association and the Island Youth Service of the Cabildo de Lanzarote have chosen to screen this feature film set in 1902, which tells the story of a detachment of the Russian army that enters the Siberian taiga.

The environmental issue will mark the debate after the screening, in which, in addition to the Tenique Cultural Association, the associations "Desert Watch Lanzarote" and "Ecologistas en Acción Lanzarote" will participate, two organizations from the island specialized in the main issues raised by the film.

Tickets are now available and can be obtained free of charge online, with priority for those under 35 years of age. In the coming months, the following sessions of this project will be Cube (Vincenzo Natali) on August 25, "It All Starts Today (Bertrand Tavernier)" on September 29, "Amour (Michael Haneke)" on October 27, "Twelve Angry Men (Sidney Lumet)" on November 10, and "The Thin Red Line (Terrence Mallick)" on December 29.
