In its 14th edition, the Lanzarote Film Festival maintains its constant effort to provide access to the best culture throughout the territory, by deploying the screenings of its Trasfoco section, dedicated to the theme "islands" in the seven municipalities, with a special session in La Graciosa.
The organizing association, Tenique Cultural, thus shows its willingness to have a presence throughout the geography of Lanzarote, reach as many people as possible and approach diverse audiences with its offer of classic and contemporary titles of documentary and fiction film.
While Arrecife, as the main venue of the Lanzarote Film Festival, will be the setting for the Official, Crossroads and part of Trasfoco sections, Tías, San Bartolomé, Yaiza, Tinajo and Haría will offer two films and Teguise three, with the addition of the screening in La Graciosa.
The films have been carefully selected by the programming team to satisfy all kinds of tastes, from adventure films to war and literary, historical and everyday plots, some of them widely known and others yet to be discovered by the general public, which take place on real or imaginary islands. As is usual in the proposals of Tenique Cultural, the stories reflect the diversity of societies and cultures in productions from all latitudes.
These films are offered with free access until full capacity and in some cases will be presented by the directors or by people linked to the theme of the films. All additional information is available on the website of the Lanzarote Film Festival.
