Heart, the festival dedicated to the performing arts, has caught the attention of the Iberian Festival Awards. Thanks to its program, starring culture and sustainability, it has positioned itself as one of the best non-musical festivals in Spain and Portugal.
Last October, Heart managed to make more than 3,500 people enjoy themselves on Playa Honda Avenue. The meeting featured different multicultural works in the form of shows and activities, such as popular music, theater, literature, humor, cinema, dance and plastic arts. The main objective set by the festival organization was to offer the richness of all cultural genres to the citizens.
Thanks to its original proposal, consisting of a total of 27 performances and workshops, Heart filled the hearts of many families with joy, entertainment and love for the performing arts. In its faithful commitment to sustainability, it prioritized the involvement of various local groups and restaurants in the area, together with the talent of local, national and international artists.
The organization of the Iberian Festival Awards has opened a voting period to choose the best festivals in each category. The popular vote is crucial for Heart to be a finalist in this contest, the deadline to support its candidacy is until January 16, 2023. The public can cast their vote through this link.
"We remember that this festival has been possible thanks to the involvement of the San Bartolomé City Council and Arenao Producciones, creators of this event full of culture and leisure for citizens. All this, with the sponsorship of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the collaboration of the Canary Institute of Cultural Development", they conclude from Heart.
