The first edition of the Arrecife Song Festival achieves the participation of 11 performers

The first winner will receive 1000 euros in cash as a prize. For the second, 500 euros and a trophy; and for the third place, a trophy and 250 euros.

The Arrecife City Council has organized the first edition of the Arrecife Song Festival for the San Ginés Festivities. The festival has the participation of eleven performers in this first edition. And it will take place on the stage installed next to the Charco de San Ginés, near the area known as Las Cuatro Esquinas.

The Department of Acts and Events, under the direction of the Councilor for Sports Juanjo López, has reported that cash prizes and trophies have been established for the top three finalists.

All participants will receive diplomas accrediting their presence at this festival that takes place within the city's patron saint festivities, where the 225th anniversary of the founding of the Parish of San Ginés is commemorated in 2023, and the beginning of the creation of the municipality of Arrecife. The capital of Lanzarote was in the second half of the 19th century.

The first classified, together with the trophy, will receive 1000 euros in cash as a prize. For the second, 500 euros and a trophy; and for the third place, a trophy and 250 euros.

The festival will start tomorrow, Tuesday, August 15, at 9:00 p.m. on the stage next to the Charco de San Ginés.
