The Hybrid Art Fair & Festival, which will celebrate its second edition on February 23, 24 and 25 in Madrid, will have a presence from Lanzarote. Four creators from the Ars Magna collective will attend this festival thanks to the support of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Culture area coordinated by Councilor Óscar Pérez, who has included this activity within his Desembarco project, whose objective is "to disseminate the work of Lanzarote artists abroad, highlighting their creations and productions and making them known outside the island's borders in professional contexts."
The four members are Elena Zabalza, Emma López-Leytón, Iván Vilella and Víctor GM, who will show their works at this meeting that takes place at the Petit Palace Santa Bárbara Hotel in the capital.
This will be the third promotional activity within Desembarco after attending the JustMad Art Fair in Madrid in 2016 with the artists Daniel Jordán, Moneiba Lemes and Nicolás Laiz, and in 2017 at Arte Santander with Rigoberto Camacho.
The Ars Magna collective, of which the four selected artists are part, has been developing artistic projects in which it is committed to transgression, nonconformity, experimentation or diversity.
As for the Hybrid Art Fair & Festival, it is committed to showing the coexistence between projects far from the traditional circuits of the art system with other consolidated ones that present their riskiest proposals within the framework of the fair. In this edition, 30 galleries, collectives and hybrid spaces will participate in the General Program, from a total of six participating countries.
