The Cabildo of Lanzarote has announced a special bus service for the festivities of Nuestra Señora del Carmen de La Santa, in the municipality of Tinajo.
Through the services of the company Arrecife Bus S.L., and coinciding with the nights of verbenas, on Saturday, July 23, two new services of Line 16 (La Santa – Arrecife) will be enabled at 04:00 hours. Likewise, on Sunday, July 24, there will be a service on the same line at 3:30 am.
"We seek to ensure that the population has alternatives to move safely and enjoy the festivities, minimizing the risks involved in driving at night, in addition to improving connectivity so that the largest number of people can attend these parties,” said the Minister of Transport, Marcos Bergaz.
The service fee will be that corresponding to the application of the current traveler-kilometer rate for that line. The route of Line 16 will be La Santa - El Cuchillo - La Cañada - La Plaza de Tinajo - Cine de Tinajo - El Calvario - Tajaste II - Tajaste I – Guigua - Teleclub Mancha Blanca - Mancha Blanca - Los Dolores - Las Cadenas - La Curva de La Vegueta - Correos La Vegueta - La Tienda de Tiagua - La Caseta de Tao - Correos Mozaga - Cruce de San Bartolomé - Avenida De Las Palmeras - Casa Ajei - Calle César Manrique - Argana Alta - Hospital General - Biblioteca Pública - Estación de Guaguas de Arrecife.
