The Arrecife Carnival Children's Groups Contest will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 on the stage that the City Council will install again this year in the old Agramar cannery, in Puerto Naos, and which will host other important events of the upcoming Arrecife Carnival.
This was agreed this Monday during the meeting that the deputy mayor and councilor of Festivities of the Lanzarote capital, Echedey Eugenio, held with representatives of the four participating children's groups that will be Los Intoxicaditos, Los Titiñecos, Los Chau Chau and Los Noveleros.
In this way, the Arrecife Carnival program is defined in terms of the carnival groups contests, since last December the semifinals of the Adult Carnival Groups Contest were established, after the celebration of the corresponding draw during the benefit gala of Carnival groups held in Maneje.
This draw determined that Intoxicados, Inadaptadas, Tabletúos and Simplones will participate in the first semifinal that will take place on Monday, February 24; while Enraladas, Faltonas, Desahuciados and Vacilonas will do so in the second that will be held the following day. The final of the Arrecife Carnival, dedicated this year to the Disney world, will be on Friday, February 28.
