Ten artists will participate in the new charity concert "Singer-songwriters who accompany"

Next Friday, November 11, under the title "Singer-songwriters who accompany", ten artists from Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Cuba will take to the stage of the Arrecife Civic Center from 9:00 p.m. in solidarity.

These are Luis Quintana, Sofiel D'lpino, Jesús Garriga, Ari Jiménez, Sergio de Jesús Padrón Duque, Israel Curbelo, Maru Cabrera, Elisa Felipe, Yarel Hernández and Yosán Pereda, performers who will contribute their music in favor of the 'Acompañar' association to recognize their support and listening function that they selflessly provide to those people who are suffering from a serious illness or who have lost a loved one. The promoters of this musical event, Celia de León Curbelo and Marie Claire Domínguez Peyronnet, detailed the reason for the initiative at the press conference. "We thought that what better tribute to the Acompañar Association and its president, Sergio García, than to organize a concert to thank them for their selfless work and at the same time raise funds for the Association."

This concert has the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the Arrecife City Council, from where they pointed out "the outstanding healing power of music for health since it provides interesting benefits, properties and virtues in the treatment of diseases and has the power to improve mood".

The event also has the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Government of the Canary Islands, through Canarias crea Canarias.

The head of Culture of the Arrecife City Council, Rafael Juan González, explained during the presentation that the initiative "had our collaboration from the beginning because one of the lines of work that we are developing and of which I am most proud, is to collaborate to the extent of our possibilities, with the cultural projects that are presented to us from the different social groups, in favor of an inclusive culture, in which we can all participate, without any type of limitation".

In the same vein, Councilor Luis Arráez, representing the Cabildo of Lanzarote, explained the interest of the island institution "in continuing to support this type of project in which culture and solidarity come together and with which we achieve a double objective as is this case; promote all these singer-songwriters and publicize the work of the Acompañar Association"

For their part, the organizers of the concert thanked the participation of each and every one of the singer-songwriters, emphasizing that "they have not hesitated to lend their support and give us what will be an unforgettable concert, which in addition to its solidarity aspect, will contribute to the dissemination of a musical genre such as singer-songwriter".
