Teguise begins preparations for the XIII edition of the White Night

The program includes everything from children's workshops and sports activities to visits to cultural spaces, street theater and musical performances

White Night of Teguise

The Teguise City Council, through the Department of Culture, has begun preparations to host the XIII edition of the White Night. This is a meeting, held in the Villa, which promises a day full of activities for all audiences. This year, the celebration recovers its original date, just before the festival of the Virgen del Carmen, and will extend throughout the day, from 4:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Mayor Olivia Duque highlights that the event will have more activities than ever, distributed in eleven different locations in the municipality. "We want to offer both residents and visitors a day full of concerts, workshops, shows and exhibitions, ensuring that culture, gastronomy, commercial activities and children's proposals are present in every corner of our historic center," she says.

Likewise, the first mayor thanks "the collaboration of entities, collaborators and municipal personnel, especially the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Government of the Canary Islands, whose support has been essential for the realization of the event".

For his part, the Councilor for Culture, Javier Díaz, stresses that "the White Night is a reflection of Teguise's commitment to promoting culture and outdoor entertainment and we are sure that this year will be an unforgettable edition".

This action has been consolidated as an event that attracts both families from Lanzarote and tourists looking for a diverse and enriching cultural offer. The program includes from children's workshops and sports activities to visits to cultural spaces, street theater and musical performances. The City Council will inform the population of the new activities and the complete program of the event.
