Teguise already shows off the Nativity Scene

The opening ceremony took place last Friday, December 9.

Nativity Scene of Teguise

The Camilo José Cela square in Villa de Teguise already displays the new traditional Nativity scene, which was inaugurated last Friday night during an official event that featured the performance of the Lanzarote tenor Raúl Rod, singing to Christmas.

On the same Friday night, the Canarian rock group “Los 600” paid tribute to the soundtracks of the 70s, 80s and 90s, enlivening the evening from the Plaza de Los Leones in the Historic Center of Teguise.

The following day, the first to visit the Belén de la Villa after its opening were the elders of Teguise on Saturday morning, on an excursion prior to their Christmas meeting at the Monumento al Campesino.

The musical culmination of Saturday night was provided by the Villa de Teguise Polyphonic Choir and the special performance of the Camerata Lacunensis group, in the church of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, with a moving repertoire, which stood out for the exquisite technical and interpretive work of its members.
