The Tourism Department of the San Bartolomé City Council has presented the cultural and tourist leisure proposal Clas-Mu 2015. For its 2015 edition, Clas-Mu will host 12 concerts in different spaces of the municipality between the months of March, April and May.
The Bodeguita of Casa Cerdeña has hosted the presentation of this "interesting proposal that unites music, made in spaces with high heritage value, with the idea of projecting the municipality to open it to tourism, to new audiences and to value the wineries and private initiatives of the municipality", they point out from the Consistory.
"Filling San Bartolomé with good music and integrating culture and tourism are the main objectives of this proposal", said David Rocío, Councilor for Tourism of San Bartolomé. In addition, Rocío pointed out that another of the goals of Clas-Mu is to "reach out to private companies from the cultural tourism offer".
The musician of the municipality and consolidated timplista Gabriel García, who collaborates in the organization of the concerts, has highlighted "the importance of bringing proposals with attractive musical programs and in spaces with high heritage value". García stressed the importance of "having the support of the Bermejo, El Grifo and La Florida wineries, which give up their spaces for musical leisure", and also stressed the "great musical quality" of all the Clas-Mu 2015 concerts, as well as the "educational proposal that has its space in this edition". This educational aspect will be reflected in the presence of Enrique Matheu, who will teach classes on "Sound for the Timple".
This year's edition of the festival will be closed with the concert of Germán López, which is entitled "What do you know about the timple?" and will be held for students of CEIP Ajei and El Quintero.
Daniel Lasso was also present at the event, representing Bodegas La Florida, who expressed his gratitude to the City Council for "supporting the wineries and making known the spaces they have". "What better way to do it than through cultural offerings, as in this case of good music," he said.
