One more summer, Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero has announced its Short Story Contest. For this fifth edition of the contest, participants must tell a story in which Quixote and the radio appear, thus commemorating the IV centenary of the publication of Miguel de Cervantes' novel in 1615.
As in previous editions, the short stories must have a maximum length of one hundred words, including the title if any. Each author may submit a maximum of five stories, which may be signed with a pseudonym as long as the name and contact telephone number of the author are attached.
The deadline to participate in this literary contest opens next Wednesday, July 1, and concludes on August 31, so stories received before or after those dates will not be accepted.
A jury made up of journalists from Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero and La Voz de Lanzarote will choose three winning stories and seven finalists. The decision will be made public in the second half of September.
In addition, the stories will be published in La Voz de Lanzarote, in strict order of receipt, and will also be read in the Monday space "Reading on the Radio", from Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero, depending on the availability of time.
Those who wish to participate can do so by sending their works to the email concursorelatos@lanzarotemedia.net .
Add La Voz de Lanzarote as a preferred Google source.
