The Culture Area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, directed by Jesús Machín, has organized the Music Week on the island in a project that aims to promote the talent of the island's youngest people.
Jesús Machín has highlighted that “Music Week is an exciting annual project that requires organization, preparation and sensitivity. The Insular Center for Musical Education of Lanzarote presents a diverse program, a wide variety of concerts and informative activities related to music” and added that “we are especially excited to receive the young pianists from El Salvador, who will share their talent with us.”
This initiative aims to promote the talent of the most outstanding students from both El Salvador and the CIEM, thus promoting a valuable cultural exchange. Music, especially the piano, will serve as a link between both nations, highlighting its power to transcend borders and unite people through artistic beauty.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a varied and exquisite repertoire that includes pieces by Chopin, Schubert, Debussy and other great composers, performed by young talents and renowned professors.
Admission will be free until full capacity is reached and information and programming for Music Week will be available on the official website.
