The Lanzarote writers Lana Corujo and Juli Mesa participate in the Reading and Writing Fair for Young Entrepreneurs (FLEJE) organized by Youth of the Government of the Canary Islands, during February 10 and 11 at the Atlantic Youth Center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife.

This event will bring together some of the most prominent voices of Canarian literature and will feature the participation of Sara Fratini, from Karmala Cultura, and Lamberto Guerra, from Nolabel Producciones.

The program, open to the public and free until full capacity, includes readings, talks, round tables and workshops with about thirty young authors. The meeting is sponsored by Izaskun Legarza and María José Legarza, owners of the Women's Bookstore in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The event has begun with a tribute to two island authors: Félix Francisco Casanova and Alexis Ravelo, recently deceased.

The first edition of FLEJE, which took place in Fuencaliente, La Palma in May of last year, was a success in participation and led to many literary collaborations, generating bridges between islands.
